Lady painting

Storm At Ucluelet

The Long Walk Home

Eight paintings. Each one a memory of place and time. Pushing back against uncertainty in today’s world, the urge to paint with abandon, without constraint, beckons me, taunts me and often eludes me.

The coastal mountains of British Columbia, strong, quiet watching over us like a good parent are always with me. Wild crashing waves and unpredictable skies over the Pacific call me, I can feel the cold spray of surf on my face.

A childhood in Ontario, it’s steamy summers and cold winters helped shape who I was to become. Now as the twilight of life approaches I listen to the whispers of what came before and wonder what next?
